START NEW Basic Training has grown from a single program that began in Cadillac, MI in 2006, to multi-site programs that currently are being facilitated in 16 other locations throughout Michigan in 2008. With our first National START NEW God's Way Conference and START NEW Basic Training "Team Training" in August, plus additional "Team Training" in January/February of 2009, we are projecting multi-site programs being facilitated in over 50 locations by mid 2009.

We also are piloting a Spanish program in September 2008 in Grand Rapids, MI, and look to have a Spanish version of START NEW Basic Training available in early 2009. You can see how God has blessed and continues to push us forward, sharing His message of love through His 8 laws of health.

Until May of 2008, volunteers had donated their time and energy in putting together this program and paying for the expenses. This included the development of over 30 Powerpoint programs, 250 page syllabus, training materials, etc. However with hundreds of hours each month being invested in the national program, training and expansion, we have found it impossible to ask for people to continue to donate their time.

We recently were blessed with two $5000.00 donations this spring, and this allowed us to purchase some office equipment, a computer and software, and hire a part-time Program Director (George Corliss) to handle the necessary functions of the day to day program. Although this is a part-time position, it continues to entail between 30-40 hours per week. With continued expansion... well, I'm sure you get the picture. We could really use any donation you might be impressed to give at the moment.
